Chic New Fabrics

Celerie Kemble's new line of fabrics are up on the Schumacher website and look amazing! I especially love the Hot House Flowers pattern in Spark as seen on the pillow above. According to the website, "Celerie’s look is based on beautifully refined traditional design with a reinterpreted and updated approach that speaks to a new generation. It combines classic looks with very modern details and geometric patterning, using unexpected metallic finishes, exotic touches such as ikats and embroidery, as well as glamorous moiré, silk and velvet all in a rich and sophisticated color palette of saturated hues and subtle neutrals." Sounds and looks good to me! I may have to make a run to the D&D this week to check them out in person!

HC -

I have forwarded your post today to my baby sister...she has collected vintage fabric for years and I knew she would love seeing some of the new "good" stuff that is available.

I love the textures and designs of fabric - they have inspired me since my first blanket as a child.

woven cotton still drives me wild

Michelle, The fabric is from Celerie Kemble but she could have been influenced by Joseph Frank. Maybe it says on the website.

April, I love every showroom...well most of them anyway. I was just at Kravet and found some great things. I always love Rogers & Goffigan for their colors and textures. We also use a lot from Bergamo, Lee Jofa, Clarence House, Romo, Great Plains. I also personally love China Seas for bright colors and Schumacher for Asian patterns.
