Bob Collins at Todd Romano

It's funny when an answer to one of your questions falls in your lap. I've been trying to find out who represents Bob Collins & Sons in New York and just I found out that Todd Romano has recently started carrying the line of fabulous fabrics and wallpapers. You might not know the name Bob Collins but I can bet you've seen the wallpapers used in rooms by the some of the top interior designers as seen below. It was so much fun to be able to check out all the patterns in person and even though none of them seem right for any of my current projects I will definitely be filing them away for a future project! They are really fabulous and you should check them out too!

Am confused: Scheerer calls it Lyford Trellis and it's made by China Seas, see here http://stylecourt.blogspot.com/2007/01/tom-scheerers-lyford-trellis-wallpaper.html. And it looks like the same paper used by Sly Stone in 1973. See here: http://aestheteslament.blogspot.com/2008_05_29_archive.html. What's the story?

Alicia - mine too!

An Aesthete's Lament - I took the Tom Scheerer photo off. I thought maybe they made a mistake since the fabric is named Lyford Background. I thinnk Bob Collins has been around for a while but I'll have to do some investigating.

Camilla - I am going to try to call the company today and see what I can find out.

Rose C'est La View - welcome!

These papers and fabrics are so evocative of 1970's-early 80's prints...so rich, beautiful and happy. My favorite is the parrot in the first photo. Bathrooms completely covered in one of the trellis patterns would be so yummy. Thanks for posting them.

Hi Heather,

I've always loved the Chinese lattice and the Bamboo birds paper KW used in her rooms.I thought it was her own paper...interesting. I also have these photos in a favorites folder. The yellow is fabulous! I wanted to use the KWID trellis paper in my hallway redo, but the price point was little to high for me, but great for client projects though...
Just posted my hallway redo, hope you can take a moment to check it out!
