Come Sail Away

Matt Albiani's homes reminded me of how much I love nautical accents. These homes took it a step further by displaying model sailboats. Some are small and some are rather quite large, but they all look perfectly at home inside. Enjoy!

classic....ever since I was a kid I've always felt that a sailboat (beauties like ur examples) give a home a certain sophistication...maybe because sailing itself isn't an inexpensive passion?
Great post Heather, as always!

My dream is to be on a sailboat, stopping only to shop and shower. I love this post, Heather.

Sailing away from the crowd into the sunset, these boats inspire relaxing thoughts and make you dream of exotic places. Perfect choice of images.

Tasteful nautical themes in decor, as you have posted, always remind me of being on the water, calm and peaceful!! How bad can that be?

It seems I love everything that Phoebe Howard does, and I'm not disappointed by the pics you've shown here. I love the boats lining the hallway.

Thank you for this post! I've been looking for a large sail boat for my fireplace mantle ever since I saw the one on Sarah's cottage (hgtv) If you happen to know where to purchase a large one at the best price I would love to know....
Thank you...
