Chic in the Country

While perusing the Wall Street Journal online, I came across this chic fall fashion spread.  It stars actor Peter Krause which is a little strange but there is nothing strange about the autumnal outfits, lovely interiors, or country setting.  (All the credits are available here.)  The only thing missing though is colorful fall foliage. Enjoy!

THE DRESS--it must be inspired by Fortuny. Of course, the ridgebacks are gorgeous-but I think they should have used blue standard poodles.

This is cool -- it actually looks more like a real (really privileged!) couple than a fashion shoot.
Hurray for fall.

Love, love this post! Love the dark tones and the leather. Her dress is to die for, and his attire is nothing to sneeze at.
Have a nice day.

I love the dress -- but can I get her arms along with it? What a beautiful tribute to fall and all that it has to offer.

I have loved Peter for years! From Six Feet Under to now on Parenthood (which isn't that bad if you are not already watching).

Fall IS in the air!

What a fabulous spread. Anyone could find inspiration in these patterns and textures. It is a wonderful inspiration for fall decor. Thanks for the gorgeous post.

These two people look so wild and crazy! Very sophisticated and preppy I would say.

Fabulous shoot - love everything! But you are right - taken before while everything is still so green.
