Templeton: Part Deux

You may remember that I wrote about Templeton, the home of style icon C.Z. Guest a few months ago.  Now you can see more photos in the December issue of Harper's Bazaar.  Her daughter Cornelia Guest lives on the sprawling estate but it's proving to be a bit too big for her and she has put it on the market.  Maybe a new style icon will buy it or someone who wants to feel like one!

Loved it first time 'round and love it again! What a spectacularly beautiful place. Too bad she has to give it up but most cost a fortune to maintain. And that last shot makes me want to get a red coat!!

If I had to use one single word it would be: Sophisticate.

Heather, take a look at my post today, it's an ITALIAN COTTAGE. I can imagine you there.. taking a break from NY. :-)

How incredibly chic -- the abundance of leopard-print velvet makes Nero's heart sing.
Cheers, Alcira

What an amazing house. While Cornelia still manages to look youthful, she certainly looks like her mother in the photo of her standing on the staircase. Similar posture and facial expression.

Gorgeous in an Old English way - I do love to see the splash of modern in the foyer.

Paintings in the dining room - tttoooo high - unless they host basket ball players frequently.

I was elated to see that the leopard carpet was still there--such an amazingly beautiful and unique house and style.
