A Vision in Vogue

I haven't seen Black Swan yet but the buzz on Twitter seems to be good so far, although they say it's a bit disturbing.  Vogue has shot one of the stars of the film, Natalie Portman, and continued the ballet theme in Spreading her Wings.  The January 2011 cover does look a little too similar to her May 2002 Vogue cover but I guess if it's not broke, why fix it.  Happy Reading!

This is just so "suave".

Natalie is very talented and she's so elegant. I can't wait to see the movie too.

Beautiful post, Heather.

Make of this day and better day for your life! :-)

Oh, I think I'll be sitting this one out (wrote a post about that last week http://www.i-dream-of.com/2010/12/swans-way.html ) I just can't do disturbing movies, even if the costumes are Rodarte :-) But Natalie is absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to get my copy of Vogue --this cover is soooo much better than last month, right????

I saw the movie last night and it is SO disturbing -but still worth watching because it's incredibly beautiful and so thrilling!

I found it more suspenseful and thrilling than disturbing. It's tame compared to Requiem For a Dream imo. A little pervy at times, true.

Natalie was stunning, this role will anchor her status in Hollywood and will no doubt earn her an Oscar nomination. She looked amazing, though the film is not for the faint of heart. Its downright nauseating at times.

Hmmm, my interest is peaked. I'll probably wait for it to show up on Netflix, but I'll definitely see it. She is beautiful.
