Gold Standard

I've never met anything gold and shiny that I didn't like, including all the furniture and decorative accents in this Parisian apartment. It is owned by Delfina Delettrez whose mother is Silvia Venturini Fendi, one of those fabulous fashion Fendis.  Looks like chicness runs in the family and her taste in antiques is perfect for the Sixth Arrondissement apartment on the Place de Furstenberg, one of the most beautiful areas in the city. While her mother designs bags, this Fendi fille designs jewelry and of course uses lots of gold. Maybe she's inspired by her apartment.  I know I sure am.

There is indeed a lot to be said for a room of white walls and gold tones. Airy and warm. Perfect. Although, and please forgive, I find ironic the pairing of the "fancy" cigarettes and the gold skull. ~best
