Hopefully by now you've had time to digest the chicness of the first floor of the Hollywood Hills home of Mark D. Sikes from my last post Get ready for even more amazing interior design on the second floor. The shelves that hold all his magazines are definitely going in my inspiration folder for my future home. Enjoy!

Oh my gosh, that magazine organization! AMAZING!!
Gorgeous! The upstairs says California style to me - updated, fresh and clean looking with up to the date trends included but still a classic feeling. Thanks for sharing.
so so chic!!!
What a stunning home. To be honest, as a native New Yorker, I'm surprised to see something with such tasteful elegance in LA. This is beautiful. Gorgeous post. Thank you for sharing this!
Beautiful. I especially like the how the magazines are arranged in the bookshelves of the study. They are a great decorative element.
i'm pinning these pics to the gazillionth power. love love love!!
Sweet Mary Jane, that is a lot of magazines.
Wow love these 2 posts - thank you so much! The attention to detail by both you and him is amazing. Inspiration everywhere you look.
I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for yesterday's and today's post...when I saw this home in House Beautiful, I dogeared the pages with my constant examination. Instinctively, and with your typical sharp eye for the best details, you provided so much information I wanted, but didn't have. Merci beaucoup! I hope your whole LA trip was delightful, as this house visit likely was....
Money can't buy taste or class but that home has both good taste and high class.

Beautiful home! Very eclectic style! Now I know how to arrange my stack of magazines in our bookshelf. Thanks for sharing. Your blogs are always inspirational....Pamela
I've been a huge fan since the House Beautiful pics (put them on my own blog!) so this was a treat! I had not seen the shell mirror with the birds before, love it!
ANY IDEA WHAT THE BLUE AND WHITE FABIC IS ON THE DUVET IN THE MASTER??? I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING AND I CAN NOT FIND IT!
Oh yes, the upstairs is equally lovely, especially with the views from the balcony over the gardens.
Wow. Never has an entire house featured in a magazine resonated so deeply with me. Like many others, I keep returning to my issue over and over to devour each image with renewed admiration and inspiration. As others have said, I would not change one single thing. I could swap keys. But it would be infinitely more enjoyable to be their guest and experience their story of this space. This house manages to be insanely chic, timeless, and approachable all at once. Each vignette speaks volumes. At every turn there is something to be considered. I imagine that they are as welcoming and fantastic in person as their home. With your added perspective coming through the camera-perfection. Thank you for sharing. I have pinned many.
Lovely, tasteful home and great pics as well!
God lord, he is insanely talented. There is not a single space in his house that I do not love. I've seen these images separately, but had no idea they belonged to one person. Stunning.
