Design on a Dime 2012 Recap

The early bird gets the worm is always the theme of the opening night of Housing Works Design on a Dime and last night was no exception.  I also think was the best year ever for the rooms which were chock full of amazing furniture and accessories like High Falls Mercantile above.  I managed to snag a great Lucite coffee table for my apartment but saw so many things I wanted to take home. Big thanks to Housing Works for inviting me to this great event and to all the designers for all their hard work.

I am missing credits for a few spaces so if you know who they were designed by, please let me know.  If you want any more information on the designers listed, you can check them out here.  Don't forget that the free public sale days are Friday and Saturday from 10:00am - 6:00pm.  I am definitely tempted to go back!

Happy Shopping!

Heather, do you know who makes that extremely beautiful wallpaper in the Pappas Miron set-up (boats and lanterns)? I couldn't find any info on the Housing Works site. Great photos!

Oops, I just answered my own question via some Googling - the gorgeous wallpaper used by Pappas Miron is made by Cole & Son, and it is called "Gondola".

@Casa di Pietra, I love the wallpaper from Cole & Son as well. It made that room extravagant.

Habitually Chic, thank you for documenting the event. It looks amazing; wish I could have gone. And so glad it benefits HousingWorks- they're a great and needed organization.

Our company was represented at opening night and we donated accessories. What a wonderful cause, we plan on participating again. The event was well organized and as you can see from the pictures the designers did a wonderful job.
